Scotty Lynn Phelps

Scotty Lynn Phelps, 43, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Monday, December 20, 2021, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Scotty was born in Jonesboro and lived all of his life here. He was a 1996 graduate of Nettleton High School and work many years in the HVAC profession as an installer and service technician.

Scotty enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. But above everything else, he dearly loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter Alexis. Scotty was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Duez Phelps.

Survivors include his parents: Chris and Carolyn Phelps of Paragould;

wife, Lisa Phelps and daughter Alexis Phelps, both of Jonesboro;

sister and brother-in-law, Christina and Robert Hammel of Paragould; and

two nephews and one niece.

There will be a memorial gathering at 2:00 p.m. Monday,  December 27, 2021, at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private.

For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
