Sandra Sue Steiling

Sandra Steiling, 82, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.  She was born March 25, 1941, in Normal, Illinois to Edwin and Agnes Koerner.

Sandra enjoyed being outside, traveling to the beach, and above all, spending time with her family.  Prior to retirement, Sandra worked in various positions for over fifteen years as a teacher’s assistant, resource assistant, and administrative assistant in the West Memphis School District.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Mecherle.  She leaves behind her devoted husband of 62 years, Steve Steiling of the home; her son, Jeff (Diane) Steiling of Jonesboro; her daughter, Jennifer Steiling of North Little Rock; and two granddaughters, Ashley (Jeremy) Evans of Florence, Alabama, and Allison Steiling of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

All services will be private, under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.
