Sandra Murphy Scott, 56 of Jonesboro, passed from this life July 5, 2018 at her brother’s residence. She was born on February 25, 1962 to Michael Murphy and Helen Gattlin Murphy in Rockford, Illinois. Sandra was a hairstylist and enjoyed spending time with her family, going out to eat, watching old movies and loved giving gifts to others. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her son, Robbie Swan of Marked Tree; daughter, Brittany Gilmore (Ian) of Lake City; brother, Carl Murphy of Jonesboro; sister, Vicki Means of Jonesboro; 2 grandchildren, Aiden and Lillian.
A visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2018 at Emerson Memorial Chapel from 5-7pm. Burial will be private.
