Sandra Yvonne Brimhall McGee, 78, of Brookland, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 13, 2025. She was born on November 11, 1946, in Wynne to the late Lawrence and Fern Brimhall.
Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She was of the Baptist faith and found immense happiness in the simple yet meaningful moments—tending to her garden, plants, especially her flowers, spending time with loved ones, and cheering on her grandchildren in everything they did. Whether she was sitting on the sidelines of a ballgame, clapping from the stands, or offering words of encouragement after a tough game, nothing made her prouder than watching her grandchildren play sports and grow into the people they were becoming. She was their biggest fan, and her unwavering love and support will forever be cherished.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Billy R. McGee of the home; two sons, Billy D. McGee (Stacey) of Brookland and Barry R. McGee (Margie R.) of Jonesboro; three brothers, Jimmy Brimhall (Mary) of Tennessee, Larry Brimhall (Teresa) of Jonesboro, and Terry Don Brimhall of Bryant; six adoring grandchildren, Will McGee (Azlyn), Josh McGee (Bianca), Alex Bingham (Logan), Caleb McGee, Abbigail McGee, and Gracie McGee; and six precious great-grandchildren, Madi, Easton, Oakley, Emmi Lynn, Billie June, and Thatcher.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Pine Log Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Hathcoat officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be her beloved grandsons and family friends: Caleb McGee, Will McGee, Josh McGee, Logan Bingham, Riley Webster, and Sean O'Neal.
Sandra’s love was immeasurable, and her legacy of kindness, warmth, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will always be felt in the laughter of her grandchildren and the love they carry forward.
