Sandra Kay Emerson

Sandra Kay Emerson, 65, of Bay, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, October 9, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1960, in Trumann, AR, to the late Edward and Lavern Davison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Vernon Davison.

Sandra was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed her 15-year career as a beautician in her hometown, where she owned and operated The Unique Hair Salon. Later, she worked at Arkansas State University until her retirement in 2024. In retirement, Sandra found joy in crafting, thrifting, decorating her home, and most of all, spending cherished time with her family.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Warren Emerson; her sons, Bryan (Jamie) Barnes, Adam (Christian) Emerson, and Matthew (Sarah) Emerson; grandchildren, Hunter (Sydney) Reynolds, Tayler (Hannah) Barnes, Jocelyn and Raegan Emerson, Easton Emerson, Evelyn and Elizabeth Harden; great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Clarabelle Reynolds; brother, Jerry (Marie) Davison; sisters, Rhonda Clinton, Wanda (Bret) Kulbeth, and Terri Thompson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a loving aunt.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Pine Log Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Griffey, Shane Griffey, Landon Rush, Byron Forehand, Scott Armstrong, and Xavian Brown.

Sandra’s kindness and deep love for those around her will echo through the lives of family and friends she held so dear. Her legacy lives on in the laughter she inspired, the comfort she gave, and the countless memories shared with those blessed to know her.
