Sandra Brown

Sandra Mae Brown, 71 of Brookland, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 5, 2019. Sandra’s kind soul and loving spirit touched many lives.  She appreciated the little things.  A visit, a card and time spent with her family and friends.

She worked many years for the Brookland School District. She made many lasting friendships through her working years and was loved by all. She was a shining star in the Brookland community. She loved to sing, play her piano, plant flowers and work in her yard. She is preceded in death by her husband Allen Brown; mom, Juanita Rogers Buzzard; and brother, J.T Rogers.

She is survived by her son Shannon McClung (Stevi Riddle); daughter Tara McElmurry and grandsons Corbin, Liam & Caleb); two sisters, Shirley Simpson and Linda Camp; and her precious furbaby, Charlie Brown.

A memorial service will be 6:00 pm, Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be from 4:00 until service time. Burial will be private.
