Sandra Blancett

Sandra Joan Blancett, 62 of Jonesboro, passed from this life Sunday, August 6, 2017 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.  She was born June 4, 1955 to Henry and Mary Keifer Cooper in Jonesboro.  She had worked at Jonesboro Human Development Center as a caregiver.  Sandra was a member of the Fisher Street Baptist Church.  Sandra loved her family and friends, enjoyed going to her son’s games, cooking and gardening and she especially loved reading.  She was very close to her in-laws, the Blancett’s. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Wayne Cooper and Danny Cooper.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Brandon Blancett of Jonesboro and Sean Adams of North Carolina; 3 sisters, Brenda Lawson and husband Allen, of Wynne who Sandra spent a lot of time with; Diane Ellison of Jonesboro, and Sue Wooten of Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation and a private memorial service will be held.
