Samuel Melvin “Boker” Nichols, 75, of Jonesboro, Arkansas went to be with the Lord July 14, 2008, at his home.
Samuel was born on May 24,1933 to the late Joe Allen and Daisy Nichols in Richland, Florida and was one of eight children. He married Ethel Lee Johnson in 1953, had two children, son, Melvin Wade and daughter, Karen Celeste. He drove a truck all over the Southeast for 27 years before retiring and moving to Arkansas in 1989 where he ministered with The Ephesus Church of God. During the last eight years he and his wife also worked for Woodsprings, and All Care Pharmacies. He mostly enjoyed preaching and speaking about The Word, fishing trips and visiting with family.

Wife, Ethel Lee Nichols of 54 years.
Two Children: Son, Melvin Wade Nichols Sr. and wife Dyanna of Monticello, Kentucky. Daughter, Karen Celeste Vanderford and husband Joseph of Auburndale, Florida.
Nine Grandchildren:

Dawne Bush and husband Brad of Winchester, Kentucky.
Wade Nichols and fiance Julie of Monticello, Kentucky.
Shannon Kay and husband Michael of Columbus, Georgia.
Allen Vanderford and wife Maureen of Winter Haven, Florida.
Joseph Aramini and wife Jamie of Nancy, Kentucky.
Bethany Layton and husband Matthew of Monticello, Kentucky.
Christina Aramini of Monticello, Kentucky.

Services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Emerson Funeral Home, Jonesboro, Arkansas. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. viewing at 1:00 pm and funeral service at 2:00pm. Services officiated by Bishop Robert Jones, Pastor Kenneth Jones and Michael Kay.

Jim Hill, Gary Holt, and James Zeyloft.
