Samuel Earl Lantz

Samuel Earl Lantz of Jonesboro, was born April 24, 1972 to Alla Mae Lantz and James Eugene Lantz in Batesville, AR. His life was made complete on this earth on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the age of 51. He was blessed with a large circle of family and friends to enjoy life with. Sam had a big sense of humor and beautiful green eyes.

He was a devoted husband, fun dad, special son, and very loved brother, uncle, nephew, grandson and friend. He loved hunting, fishing, playing cards with the boys, motorcycle and four-wheel riding, dirt track racing, martial arts, Bigfoot shows, building, music, and family. His girls and his family were his life.

Sam is preceded in death by his father, James Lantz, mother, Alla Mae Lantz; grandmother, Erma Smith of Cave City, grandmother Margie Lantz, of Strawberry; and brother David Lantz.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Shannon Lantz of the home, daughters Suzannah Lantz and Presley Lantz. He is also survived by his sisters Patricia Chandler, Sophie Holland and Becky Burns; and brother Phillip Lantz of Chicago. Sam is also survived by his nieces: Josie Rose, Miller Johnson; and nephews: Josh Lantz, Adam Lantz, Blake Self, Tyler Burns, Legend Chandler, Clay Holland, Jackson Holland, Rhett Burns, and Bennett Johnson. Many other wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Saturday October 21, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Tim Hall officiating. The service will follow immediately at 2:00 PM.
