Sally Thrasher

November 29, 1936 — March 25, 2011

Sally Thrasher, 74, of Jonesboro passed away Friday night, March 25, 2011 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

Sally was born Nov. 29, 1936, in Hutchinson, Kansas. She graduated high school in Liberal, KS, Stephens College, Columbia, MO, and Rhema Bible Training Center, Broken Arrow, OK.

She and her husband, Grider, were among the co-founders of Trinity Church in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker most of her life and her greatest joys were worshipping her Lord and spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren whom she adored. And though her body detiorated in recent years, her joy and her warm smile never faltered.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nile and Jewel Lepley.

Survivors include her husband, Grider Thrasher of the home; two sons Roddy and
his wife Lisa Thrasher and Tim and his wife Duronda Thrasher; five
grandchildren, Nile, Kristen, Reese, Adam, and Jenni Beth Thrasher all of
Jonesboro.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Emerson Memorial Chapel with
Rev. Steve Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park
Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Nile, Reese, and Adam Thrasher, along with Joe Pace, Joe Rogers, Fred Argo, Martin Young and Dr. Brad Fields.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Emerson Funeral Home.
