Sally Ann Baker

Sally Ann Baker, 81, of Bono, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at her home. She was born on August 1, 1945 in Tupper Lake, New York to Medore Sauvie and Clara (LaGray) Sauvie.

Sally lived the last six years in Bono and spent many years living in Florida and New York. She was of the Roman Catholic faith. In her free time, Sally enjoyed solving Sudoku puzzles and playing classic Nintendo games. She was also an avid collector of Christmas village figurines and would decorate her home proudly during the holiday season. Above all else, Sally loved her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Grandma Baker’s home was always filled with love and her doors were always open for the grandchildren to stay. Weekend visits to Grandma Baker’s would often turn into a week-long stay.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by two sisters; two brothers; her son-in-law, Michael Sackett; and her longtime friend, Rose Miller.

She is survived by her daughter, Elisha Sackett of Fayetteville, North Carolina; son, Eric Miller and wife, Carissa, of Plattsburg, New York; six brothers; one sister; her grandchildren, Michael, Hunter, Isabella, Asher, and Eva; and many nieces and nephews.
