Sadie Jo Lisk, 7 years old, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 28, at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, in her mother’s arms. She was born in Memphis, but was a lifetime resident of Lake City. She attended Riverside West Elementary. Even though her and her twin sister had Down’s Syndrome, she loved to run, play ball and sing. A lot of time she would sing while eating her favorite food, potato chips and Ketchup. She was preceded in death by her great grandfather, James Lisk, and her aunt, Sharon Bell, uncle James Edward Lisk, cousin, Nevaeh Lisk.
Survivors include her mom, Amber Lisk and step-dad, James Williams of the home; dad, Keith Collins of Trumann; twin sister, Sophie Lisk of the home; her favorite cousin, Jensen Mays; aunts, Amanda Wilson, JamiLynn Lisk, Brittany Mays, great aunt, Linda Russell; grandmother, Dawn Seaney; nana, Tiffany Lisk; uncles, Davy Jo Lisk, Rylee Lisk, Jonathan Lisk, Mavrick Lisk; grandpa, Davy Lisk; mamaw/bonus mom, Peggy Lisk; cousins, Waylon Lisk, Eva Wilson, Carter Lisk, Zoey Wilson and Raelynn Lisk; special friends, Cliff Carter, and therapist, Wendy Bowers.
Graveside services will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, November, 3, 2023 at Prairie Cemetery in Lunsford, Arkansas with James Moore officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be James Williams, D.J. Lisk, Rylee Lisk, Nathan Hutcheson, and Al Mays. Honorary pallbearers will be her classmates, the Class of 2034, and the staff and administration of Riverside. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00 at Emerson Funeral Home.
