Ruth Ellen Treadway

Ruth Ellen Treadway, 69, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday, December 28, 2018, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Ruth was born in Jonesboro on July 16, 1949, to Clifton and Bonnie Bailey Adams. Ruth lived in Jonesboro most of her life, was a Free Lance Interpreter and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Clifton Adams and her maternal grandparents.

Survived by her husband, Marvin Treadway of the home.

Sons, Chris Treadway (Meridith) of Bono and Chandler Treadway (Ashley) of Jonesboro.

Mother, Bonnie Adams of Jonesboro.

Sister, Rita Barkley of Jonesboro.

Granddaughters, Adalyn and Bailey Treadway.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at the South Caraway Baptist Church on Saturday, December 29, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 P.M.

A private burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018, in the Pine Log Cemetery with Rev. Steven Dew officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Clayton, Ty Barkley, Caleb Barkley, and Harrison Barkley.
