Helen was a great cook and always made the best dishes for family and friends. She also had a magnificent green thumb when it came to gardening, especially roses and hydrangeas. In her later years she enjoyed traveling, crossing the U.S. on chartered trips, and always talked about how fun those were.
She spent the last 12 years exercising 3 times a week with the Silver Sneakers Fitness Group. She truly loved this group, always showing up early and seldom missing a class. She was a woman of strong faith, as a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and Jim Cole’s Sunday School Class. She loved each and every person in that class.
