Ruby Lee Brust

Ruby Lee Brust of Brookland, died in her home at the age of 68. She loved the open country and woods. She was an avid bird watcher and was a lover of wildlife and animals.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Brust and Audrey “Doll” McEwen Brust.

She is survived by her first cousins, Ed Hankins and Geraldine Brust Reed of Jonesboro and Aline Vincent of Poplar Bluff.

Ruby was born in Long Beach, California on May 3, 1940. She and her parents moved to Arkansas in the mid 1960s.

Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Nettleton Cemetery with Terry Kimbrow officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
