Ruby Eilene Holt

Ruby Eilene Holt, 91, of Lake City, Arkansas died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She had lived most of her adult life in the Lake City area, moving to the Eastern district of Craighead County at an early age. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Holt; her parents, Audie and Wes Doty; and two grandchildren.

She was of the Pentecostal belief and is survived by six sons, Paul Wesly Doty, Lake City; howard Holt, Monette, Arkansas; Danny Holt, Hughes, Arkansas; Billy Wayne Holt and James Holt, Pontiac, Illnois; Charles Ray Holt, Weston, Illnois; one daughter, Nadine VanKirk, Lake City; two brothers Leland Doty, Bay, Arkansas and John Wesley Doty, Trumann, Arkansas; 31 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Lake City Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Friday night at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
