Ruby Herd, 96, of Jonesboro passed from this life on August 9, 2016. She was born on October 23, 1919 to the late Ernest and Minnie Bird in Athens, Alabama. Ruby was of the Baptist belief and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and crocheting. In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Herd.
