Ruby Faye Elrod

Ruby Faye Elrod, 79, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, May 27, 2012, at the Flo and Jones Hospice House. She was born in Bay and lived the majority of her adult life in Jonesboro. Ruby was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She retired as the Office Manager for Stan McPike DDS. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Minnie Lee Casteel Morgan and one brother, Bud Morgan.

Survivors include her son, Derrick Elrod and wife Winona of Jonesboro; two granddaughters, Cheyenne Elrod and Amanda Elrod; brothers, Donald Morgan of Hardy, Elvis Morgan and wife Caroline of Bay, Larry Morgan and wife Linda of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, June Broadaway and Wanda Schisler both of Jonesboro, and Betty Shoebroek and husband Eldon of Houston, Texas.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Emerson Memorial Chapel with a funeral service following at 6:00 pm. George Hulett will officiate at the service.
