Roy Johnston

Roy Johnston, 91, of Brookland, died Sunday April 1, 2007 at the Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.

He was born in Brookland and lived his lifetime there. He was a retired Owner/Operator Truck Driver, and of the Methodist belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Prezzie Johnston and Hattie Crittenden Johnston and one son Gene Johnston.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie Johnston of the home.

One son, Jerry Johnston of Brookland.

One daughter, Donna Childers and her husband Frank of Brookland.

One daughter- in- law, Martha Johnston, Jonesboro.

One brother, John L. Johnston of Las Vegas, Nevada.

One sister Mabel Enright of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Nine Grandchildren: Scott Childers, Melanie Clark, Holly Baltz, Bradley Childers, Ronny Johnston, Phillip Johnston, Lela Ann Duhon, Stacy Johnston, and Heather Tilley.

Thirteen Great Grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday April 4, 2007 at Pine Log Cemetery with Rev James Wainscott officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday April 3, 2007 at Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
