Roy Eugene Gooch

Roy Eugene Gooch, 85, of Jonesboro died Wednesday March 14, 2007 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born in Cash, Arkansas and lived in Jonesboro since 1985, moving back here from Pontiac, Michigan.

He was a retired machinist for Superior Metal Manufacturing, and a WWII Air Force Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Lemma Daniels Gooch, one sister Annabelle Gooch, and one son Jerry Eugene Gooch.

Survivors include his wife Helen Gooch of the home.

One daughter Bonnie Sue May and husband Thomas of Jonesboro

One brother Richard Seargeant; of Cookville, Tennessee

Two Sisters; Ernestine Rathbun of Cherokee Village, Arkansas and
Joye Mae Girdley of Oscoda, Michigan

One Granddaughter; Deana Grove and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday March 17, 2007 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rick Hansen officiating. Burial will be in Nettleton Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Friday March 16, 2007 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
