Roy Wayne Bennett

July 26, 1961 — February 26, 2012

Roy Wayne Bennett, 50, of Trumann, died Sunday February 26, at his home. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee and had lived in Trumann most of his life. He was a well driller and of the Pentecostal belief. He loved to fish and truly loved his dog Mollie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Irene Bennett, Brother; Junior and Sister; Sue May.

Survived by his brothers; Ervin Bennett (Marsha) of Trumann and James Bennett (Denise) of Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Sisters; Freda Powell (Robby) and Bernice May (Randil) all of Jonesboro, Agnes Reeder of Pearl, Mississippi and Wanda Peterson (Larry) of Eldorado.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, Feb 29, at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Don Vuncannon officiating. Burial will be at Potter’s Cemetery in Lepanto.

Active pallbearers will be Matthew May, Mike Bennett, Jason Bennett, Michael Moreno, Brandon May and Tommy Brewington.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas May, Kenneth May and Ryan Smith.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Tuesday February 28, at Emerson Funeral Home.

Family requests that lasting memorials be made to the Grace Mission Bible Training Center, 732 Greene 712 Road Paragould, AR 72450.
