Rosie Lee Waldroup, 85, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on May 22, 2026 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on April 21, 1941 in Cold Water, Mississippi.

Rosie was a devout Christian and could always be found reading her bible, which she knew beginning to end. She was a music lover and especially loved singing. In her spare time, Rosie liked visiting garage sales and cooking for her family and friends. Most of all, Rosie was a lover at heart and had a kind and caring spirit.

In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Waldroup and her daughter, Helen Faye (Bobo) Boyd.

She is survived by her six children, Glenn Bobo, Curtis Bobo, Bobby Burton, Marliyn Burton, Patricia Jones, and Ricky Bobo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Wesley Anderson, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Bobby Burton, Glenn Bobo, Glennon Bobo, Glenndon Bobo, Curtis Bobo, Ricky Bobo, and Frederick Burnside serving as pallbearers.

The repast will be held at Story, 801 S Gee Street, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
