Rose Nell Mckee

Rose Nell McKee, of Jonesboro, died Sunday evening at her home. Born in Charleston, Mississippi, she attended Bellhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi where she received her Master’s Degree in English.

Mrs. McKee was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. She loved to travel and shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Bobby McKee; and her parents, Jack & Virginia Hopkins Dempsey.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. John Dempsey & Michelle McKee, Dr. Sanders & Rachael McKee, all of Jonesboro; her daughter and son-in-law, Virginia McKee & Curt Noel, Atlanta; and her 5 grandchildren, Dempsey McKee, Finley McKee, Davis McKee, Madeline Rose McKee, and Robert Noel.

Burial will be private with Father Brad Cunningham officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Mrs. McKee’s home, 1613 Cooper Lane, Jonesboro.
