Rosalea Pierce

Rosalea Pierce, 67, of Harrisburg, died Monday, January 17, 2011 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was a life-long resident of Harrisburg and of the Baptist belief. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Bobby Gene Pierce Sr. of the home. son, Bobby Gene Pierce Jr.; daughters, Sheila Baty; Donna Pyle and husband Charles Jr. of Harrisburg; brothers, Henry Mears of Lake City; Billy Mears of Harrisburg; Rand Mears of Washington state; sisters, Victoria Gruber of Clearwater, Florida; Ima Dale Price of Sullivan, Missouri; 7 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Wilson Cemetery near Harrisburg with Tommy Jacobs officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be from 5-7 Wednesday at Emerson Funeral Home.
