Ronnie L. Winford, 63, of Lake City, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 06, 2008 at his home. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and had lived in Lake City all of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake City.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Winford; his parents, Clarence and Gladys Winford, three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia Winford, of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie (Missie) Winford; Kenneth (Marie) Winford; Jeffrey (Leona) Winford, all of Lake City; one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle (Ronald) Tyler, Lake City; one brother, Ed Winford, Lake City; two sisters, Wilma Stogsdill, Lake City; and Janice Finley, Huffman, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Lake City with Dr. Robert Foster and Denny Newcomb officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Mike Hook, Jimmy McClung, Terry Couch, William Flynn, Dennis Newcomb, and John Milligan. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 5-8, Thursday night, August 7, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Lake City.

Family request that lasting memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund of Lake City.
