Ronnie Ray Blount Sr.

Ronnie Ray Blount Sr, 67, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, April 23, 2023, at his home from a lengthy illness. He had lived in Jonesboro since 1987, moving here from New Mexico. His work history included a passion of tree cutting. His hobbies were fishing, gambling all sorts of ways, including, slots, pitching quarters and poker. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Lisa Blount of the home; son, Ronnie “Bud” Ray Blount Jr.; daughters, April Blount, also of Jonesboro; LaTasha Grass of Searcy; brothers, Randy Blount of Jonesboro and Mickey Blount of New Mexico; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life and Remembrance will start at noon at the family home, 49 CR 322, Jonesboro, on Sunday, April 30, 2023. All friends and family are invited to come share stories, bring a dish and enjoy a meal together. All other services are private.
