Ron Williams, 65, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Rector Nursing Center. He had lived in Jonesboro since 1975, moving here from Rector. He was a member and a deacon at Temple Baptist Church. He was very active in the youth ministries. Ron worked for the Jonesboro Public Schools and retired after 36 years of service. He retired as the Principal at Visual and Performing Arts. He loved to cook, actually, his cooking was phenomenal and his catering was in demand. He was a decorator and made many creations and decorated many a home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Jo Williams, and his parents, Claude and Addie Williams.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather Williams of the home, and his brother, Danny Williams of Rector.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Heath Hawkins and Andy Neal officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.
