He was born on January 26, 1953.  Like his siblings before him, Ron was born at home – specifically in a house on the Troy Cobb farm, Route 2, Lake City, Arkansas.  Ron was the twelfth child (the sixth son) of fifteen children born to Willie and Thelma Seay.  He was a 1972 graduate of Bentonville High School in Bentonville, Arkansas.  After graduation, Ron joined the United States Navy, serving 3-years as a Marine Mechanic, earning the National Defense Service Medal.  Following his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy, Ron worked for Brown and Root in Texas and Arkansas as a pipe fitter.  Later, Ron worked as a Refractory Mason for Arkansas Lime in Batesville, Arkansas, while living in Sulphur Rock.  Then he gained employment with Lynn Whitsitt Corporation as a Brick Mason. After leaving the Lynn Whitsitt Corp, Ron retired, eventually moving to Marion, Arkansas.  Ron finally settled in Cherry Valley, where he lived until his death.

Preceding Ron in death were his parents, Willie and Thelma Seay; two brothers Claude Seay and Odas Seay (Nana Lou), and four sisters, Nettie Louise Seay (infant), Sarah Jane Seay (Infant), Tilda O’Neal (Gary), and Marge Murray (Howard).

Surviving siblings are four sisters, Anna Lou Lewis (William) of Prattsville, Arkansas, Nancy  Gammill (Gary) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Betty Foster (Melvin) of Marion, Arkansas, and Sheila Mullins (Theland) of Newark, Arkansas; four brothers, Danny Seay (Linette) of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, Roy Seay (Paula) of Bentonville, Arkansas, Robert Seay (Lisa) of Cave Springs, Arkansas, and Raymond  Seay (Donna) of Baytown, Texas and a multitude of nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great grandnephews, great grandnieces – of near biblical proportions.

Ron was raised and baptized as a Southern Baptist.  Cremation of the remains will be under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Nettleton–Jonesboro, Arkansas.  The family is planning a memorial service for Ron some time in September 2024 in Heber Springs, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers or other forms of memoriam, the family requests monetary donations be given in the name of Ronald Wayne Seay – a sweet, quiet soul – to:
