Ronald "Ron" H. Roberts

Ron Roberts, 79, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2025.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Joan Roberts, with whom he shared many cherished years. He is also survived by his daughter, Ronda (Scott) Ruthven; his son, Kent Roberts; his grandchildren, Ashleigh (Derrick) King and Mitchell (Rachael) Ruthven; and his three beloved great-grandchildren, Addison Leigh King, Scottie Rose Ruthven, and Rowdy James Ruthven, who lovingly knew him as “Papa.”

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Anna Pearl Roberts; his younger sister, Vickie Roberts; his sister-in-law, Brenda (Dickie) Roberts; and his niece, Tara Walker.

He is also survived by his brothers, Dickie Roberts and Jerry (Trisha) Roberts; his sisters, Barbara (Lester) Mullen, Diann (Randall) Pierce, and June Roberts; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and even a great-great-niece who all will hold his memory close.

Over 79 years, Ron accomplished many things, but if you asked him his greatest achievement, he would have always said his family. His legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to those he held dear will live on in all who were blessed to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Ron and the impact he made on so many. The family asks for prayers as they mourn and navigate this sudden, great loss.
