Ronald Lee Olson

Ronald Lee Olson, 63, of Jonesboro, died December 12, 2011 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born in Seattle, Washington, he had lived in Jonesboro since 1997. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Vietnam. He had worked in retail as a career and had worked for K-Mart, Riggs, and Walmart. Above all, he was completely devoted to his family. He was of the Catholic belief.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Olson, of the home; his daughter and his future son-in-law, Holly Olson & Tony LaGuardia, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; son, Greg (Christy) Olson; brother, Douglas (Kathy) Olson, Puyallup, Washington; sister, Ilene (Tim) Rust, Naches, Washington; and his granddaughter, Lilly Olson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laven & Ruth Cain Olson.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Temple Baptist Church, 2405 Stadium, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
