Ronald David Lindley, 62, of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his home. He was born August 14, 1954 to the late Morris and Mildred Lindley in Jonesboro where he lived his entire life. Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved animals. He was a one of a kind man who had a very kind and generous soul that he often tried to hide. Anyone that Ron came across throughout his life would learn that behind the large, bold exterior was a genuine heart of gold. Ron never met a stranger and could always tell a great story. Apart from being a very smart and witty person, he was a very successful businessman who retired from Jimco Lighting Company after 29 years of service.
In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his son: Justin Lindley.
Ron is survived by his wife, Connie Lindley, of 33 years; two daughters: Shalla(Eddie) Wilbanks and Amber Lindley both of Jonesboro; one brother: Bob (Monica) Lindley of Jonesboro; one sister: Sandra Hurst of Little Rock; five grandchildren: Kael Wilbanks, Lindley Wilbanks, Isaac Pierce, Jaycie Lindley, and Austin Lindley; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday, June 30, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be at 2pm Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Cory Pfeifer officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery.
