Ronald Wayne Boatman, 48, of Caraway passed away on May 29, 2014 at the Med in Memphis, TN surround by his family.

Ronald was born on Novmeber 27, 1965 in Manila to Asa and Anita Williams Boatman.  He lived all his life in the Caraway area, and was a member of the Caraway United Methodist Church.    He had never met a stranger, and he was always willing to lend a hand to help anyone in need.  He was free spirited and loved to listen to Rock N Roll music. His loving personality and his love for life will be missed but never forgotten.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Bart and Dora Williams; paternal grandparents, Willie S. and Mary Boatman; step son, Brandon Langston; and one nephew, Wesley DuBar.

He is survived by his parents, Asa and Anita Williams Boatman of Caraway; two brothers, Allen (Angela) Boatman of Decatur, TX, John (Lynda) Boatman; one sister, Lisa (Jim) Redding both of Caraway; one step son, Bryan Langston; one step daughter, Sarah Langston both of Jonesboro; five nieces and nephews, Samantha Boatman, Ingrid Boatman, Johnaton Boatman, Tyler Redding, and Harrison Boatman; and a host other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10am Tuesday in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Doug Criss and Bro. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Caraway Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.  Honored to serve as pallbearers are Garry Brooks, Tim Gyngard, Jeff Campbell, Tony Hawkins, Bo James, and Barry Riley.  Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie James Tipton, Scott Smith, and Bo Lane, and Darren Dunkerson.
