Ron Jones

Ron Jones, 68 of Jonesboro, passed from this life to his heavenly home Thursday, January 12, 2023.  He was born October 9, 1954 to Wayne and Ann Jones of Cash.  Ron was a professional painter and wallpaper contractor.  He was also a former pastor and evangelist who loved to spread the Good News, not just in words but in deeds, many times praying and witnessing to people wherever he went.  Ron was a friendly man who never met a stranger.  He also enjoyed going hunting with family and friends.  Ron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Orelia Houston and his parents, Wayne and Ann Jones.

Survivors include to his loving wife of 45 years, Connie of the home; sons, Brandon Jones and Jon Jones, both of Jonesboro; brother, Michael (Tammy) of Cash and 2 grandchildren, Bailey Jones and Seth Jones.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 2-3 PM at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Service will start at 3 PM with Jerry Clements officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers will be Josh Gipson, Justin Jones, Brent Gipson, Blaine Gipson, Brian House and Chris Freeze.
