Roger Wayne Sanders

Roger Wayne Sanders, 73, of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Jonesboro on August 2, 1946 to the late Faye and Alma Sanders.

Roger has lived in Jonesboro for several years after moving back from Georgia. He was a member of Family Fellowship Baptist Church here In Jonesboro. Roger loved doing anything outdoors and was also active with the Senior Life Center in Jonesboro. Roger also served our great country in the Army Reserve.

In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Sanders and a sister, Alma Dean Mangrum.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Sanders of the home; sons, Phoenix Lemons of Hull, Georgia and Rodney Sanders, and wife Jennifer Sanders, of Hainesville, Illinois; sister, Wanda Mae Stevens of Osceola; grandchildren, Adrian Lemons and Kody Lemons as well as one great-grandchild, Kacie.
