Roger Bullock, 74, of Jonesboro passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born April 19, 1948 in Stuttgart to the late Harvey and Joy Bullock. Roger was a member of Healing Hands Community Church in Trumann. He was an Air Force Veteran who served in Vietnam. Roger was also a retired State Trooper after 30 years of service in Mississippi County and Craighead County. He enjoyed hunting, traveling and western movies, especially John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies. Roger was a member of the Fast Glass Corvette Club. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren who he adored.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Emma Sue Bullock of the home; son, Eric Bullock; daughter, Bridgette (David) Browning; brother, Cliff (Susan) Bullock; sister, Suzanne (Richard) Mell; brother in law, Eddie (Lisa) Halfacre; 4 grandchildren: Adam Browning, Barrett Browning, Iva’Leigh McCoy, Lorelai McCoy and numerous nieces, nephews, special aunts and cousins.
Funeral service will be Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Anthony Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, June 17, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
