Robin Miller Mccoy

Robin Miller McCoy, 39, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in West Memphis, Robin was a 1989 graduate of Rivercrest High School and a 2001 graduate with honors of Arkansas State University. She had lived in Jonesboro since 1997 and was a Health Information Manager with St. Bernards Medical Center where she had worked for 8 years.

Robin was a member of First Baptist Church of Keiser and an avid supporter of and contributor to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She enjoyed reading and being active with children. She was affectionately known as “Mommy” to her extended family of kids. Robin was preceded in death by her father, Jack Miller.

Survivors include her husband, David McCoy of the home;

1 son, Jordan McCoy, and
1 daughter, Kaitlin McCoy, both of the home;

Her mother, Eva Miller of Jonesboro, and
1 sister and brother-in-law: Jackie and Billy Young of Louisville, Kentucky; Also surviving were a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Raymond Routon officiating. Burial will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
