Roberta Mae Scarborough

Roberta Mae Scarborough, 77 of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital.  She was born February 26, 1943 to Luther and Verna Nichols Lingenfelter in Jonesboro.  Roberta was a supervisor at Craighead County Nursing Center and attended Prospect Baptist Church.  She sacrificed for her children and these sacrifices are held as a memorial for her in the eyes of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven.  Roberta enjoyed reading and believed in God and did what was best.  She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Vella Sue Lingenfelter

Survivors include 3 sons, Wayne Brown, Rickey Brown and Craig Arender, all of Jonesboro; 2 brothers, Charlie and Jim Lingenfelter, both of Jonesboro; 2 sisters, Lorene Clark and Nadine Henderson, both of Jonesboro.

There will be a visitation Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 10-11 AM at Emerson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be that afternoon at 1PM at Pine Log Cemetery with Randy Lingenfelter officiating.

Pallbearers will be Roberta’s sons and friends.
