Roberta Jean Harrison

Roberta Jean Harrison 78, was born in Bono, Arkansas on September 13, 1943 to Myrtle and William Wilson. She peacefully joined her family and friends in Heaven on July 23, 2022 at St. Bernard’s Hospital. She was a lifetime resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Roberta married Eugene Harrison on October 17, 1960. She is survived by Eugene Harrison, 5 children, 4 siblings, 18 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Her children are Diane and Shane Morphis, Gwyn and Gary Adams, Rickey and Tina Harrison, Donna and Lloyd Dewberry and Pamela and Scott McGee. Her siblings are Joyce and Alfred Goodman, Leon and Bobby Wilson, Linda and Gene Dacus, John (Bobby) Wilson and preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Beard.

She was a homemaker and a caregiver.  She was a strong Christian mom who raised her children to serve the Lord. Anyone who knew her felt loved and wouldn’t forget her humor. She enjoyed traveling, shopping (especially shopping for purses) and spending time with her family.  She had a wonderful gift of giving to anyone who needed assistance.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 28, 2022 with David Owens officiating and under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery with Brandon Morphis, Jackson West, Joey Grant, Eric McGee, Corey Lammers and Kyle McGee serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
