IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert
Webb
April 25, 1960 – February 5, 2026
Robert Webb was born on April 25, 1960, in Augusta, Arkansas, to the late Jessie B. Webb and Timothy Webb Jr. He was the second of seven children.
Robert attended school in Augusta and made history at Augusta High School as the school’s first Black quarterback. A gifted student-athlete, he was a three-sport standout, excelling in football, basketball, and track. His athletic talent earned him a scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, where he played football for three years before a career-ending injury brought his time on the field to an early close.
After college, Robert returned home and briefly worked at NIBCO before discovering his true passion in construction work, a trade he took pride in and pursued for many years. Beyond his professional life, Robert’s greatest passion was his family and friends. He was known for his unwavering support, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need.
Although Robert never married or had children of his own, he was a beloved role model to his nephews and a devoted father figure to his nieces. He never met a stranger and was widely known for his warm spirit, kindness, and friendly nature.
Robert transitioned on February 5, 2026, at 5:58 a.m.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie B. Webb and Timothy Webb Jr., and his sister, Jessie Webb. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Lillie, Marjorie, Zanilla, and Thomas (Kineta) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Tanya (Karen) of Toledo, Ohio, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
