Robert Waylon Russell, 69, of Jonesboro, died Sunday at his home of natural causes.
A native and life-long resident of Jonesboro, Mr. Russell was a retired sign painter for
B and B Sign Company of Jonesboro and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a stock car enthusiast.
Waylon was preceded in death by his parents: Brodie and Etta Blalock Russell; by a granddaughter: Jessica Diane Russell; and by 3 brothers: L.B., Donald and Jerry Russell.

Sherry and Gary Mask of Jonesboro, and
Donna and Scotty Nelson of Farmington, Arkansas;
6 Brothers: Elmo Russell,
Eugene Russell,
Dolphis Russell, and
Bobby Russell, all of Jonesboro, and
Willard Russell of Brookland, and
Dale Russell of Ravenden;
3 Sisters: Brenda Sharp,
Betty Gibson, and
Christine Grimes, all of Jonesboro;
16 Grandchildren and their spouses:

Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10:30 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Marty Russell, Cass Ledbetter and Kenneth Winningham officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Jonathan Russell, Brian Mask, Andrew Moore, Brody Moore, Cody Russell and
Tommy Russell.
Honorary pallbearers include: Jillian Russell, Paula Mask, Heather Nelson,
Samantha Nelson, Katie Nelson, Jennifer Russell and Sarahbeth Russell.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening 5-8 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
