Robert Southard

Robert Southard, 79, of Bay, died Monday at NEA Baptist Hospital. Born in Tulot, he lived in Bay all of his life. Robert worked for Northern Propane Gas as a service representative. He loved to fish and hunt and was of the Baptist belief.

Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Jewel; wife Joylene; daughter, Charlotte Higdon; 2 sisters, Jeanette Bundy and Betty Rawls.

Survivors include his daughter, Karen (Gary) Jefferies of Bay; 2 brothers, Terry (Anne) Clark and John Sue) Southard both of Michigan City, Indiana; 3 grandchildren, Lauren (Jerry) Hunt; Mark (Tonia) Higdon; Brian Higdon and 3 great grandchildren Blake Higdon, Brandon Higdon and Craig Hobbs.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
Service will follow in the stateroom at Emerson Funeral Home with Bro Tommy Wilbanks officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log
Cemetery.
