Robert Sammons

Robert (Bob) Sammons, 69, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday March10, 2016 at his home. He was born in Bunny, Arkansas on December 30, 1946 to the late Jack and Maggie Hutchson Sammons. Bob lived most of his life in Jonesboro, where he enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and worked in factory production for Hytrol Conveyor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Sammons.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Sammons of the home.

3 sons, John Sammons (Sheila) and Jack Sammons both of Jonesboro and Ronnie Sammons (Carolina) of Orlando, Florida.

Brother, Ronnie Sammons of Trumann.

Sisters, Rosalee Richey of Trumann, Mary Jane White (Owen), Darlene Rodger both of Jonesboro, Jackie Ruth Gray of Lake City and Katie McGowan (Clint) of Bono.

4 grandchildren, Kristina Sammons, Allison Sammons, Austin Sammons and Dylan Sammons.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday March 15, 2016 with Rev. Joe Kaiser officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. on Monday March 14, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Louis Welch, Danny Baldridge, Gary Sterling, Tim Britt, James Whittaker Jr. and Dallas Whittaker.
