Robert "R.C." Lyles Sr.

"R.C." Robert Charles Lyles Sr., 75, of Bay, passed from this life Thursday, December 27, 2018 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 22, 1943 to the late Robert Franklin Lyles and Louise Lyles-Cook in Bay, Arkansas.

R.C.  lived all of his life in Bay where he was a member of the Bay Church of Christ. He loved tending to his garden and watching St. Louis Cardinals Baseball.

R.C. is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Lyes of the home; children, Robert Lyles Jr. of Jonesboro, Cindi (Lyles) Wilbanks and husband Scott of Jonesboro and Breeanna Lyles of Bay; step-children, Brian Sims of Jonesboro, Priscilla Simmons of Bay, Melissa Sims of Lake City, Amber Sims-Brill (Dennis) of Trumann, and one sister Mikki (Kenny) Russell of Hot Springs; brothers, Gene (Joann) Lyles of Bay and Fred (Pam) Lyles of Hot Hot Springs; grandchildren, Dylan Lyles, Joshua Lyles, Holly (Lyles) Cook, Mitch Sandborn, Ryan Sandborn, Olivia Wilbanks as well as 14 step-grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
