Robert Lee Hunter

Robert Lee Hunter, 67, of Lafe, Ar passed from this life Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Paragould. He was born to the late Robert Earl and Velma Hunter. He lived the majority of his life residing in Jonesboro after spending a brief part of his life living in Illinois. He was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church in Lafe. Robert loved animals, spending time on the farm and most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. Robert loved his church family. He retired after many years of service at Jonesboro public schools.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Ann Ruth and Sandra K. Sisson

Robert is survived by two sons Alvin(Cami) Hunter and Aaron(Erin) Hunter both of Kentucky; three brothers, Earl Otto(Donnie) Hunter of Jonesboro, Danny Lynn(Marie) Hunter of Jonesboro, and Bill (Johnetta) of Lafe; two sisters, Lawanda F. Holcom and Nettie I. Dever both of Rockford, Ill; and three grandchildren, Alexis Hunter, Emily Hunter, and Brileigh Hunter all of Kentucky.

A visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be at 2p.m. Monday, February 4, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home with Brother Raymond Atwood officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ray Hunter, Eugene Hunter Earl Hunter, Bill Hunter, J.R. Risson, Charlie Wrinkle, Danny Hunter, Ethan Hunter, Billy Hunter, Brian Hunter, and Glenn Hunter.
