Robert L. "Bob" Huckaby

Bob Huckaby, 83, of Jonesboro, died Friday, November 25, 2011, at the Flo and Phil Jonesboro Hospice House.

Born in Union Grove, Alabama, Robert lived much of his life in Craighead County. He was the owner of Huckaby Seed Company and was a U.S. Air Corps veteran of W.W. II. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake City.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Curtis and Vickie Huckaby, and a daughter, Julie Huckaby, all of Jonesboro; 3 grandchildren: Ashley, Curtis and Matt Huckaby; and 2 great grandchildren: Hugh and Dan Huckaby.

All services will be private. There will be no visitation.

For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
