Robert C. Kiplinger Sr., 60 of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday September 5, 2007 at N.E.A. Medical Center in Jonesboro.
He was born in Leachville, Arkansas, and had lived in Jonesboro most of his life. He was a retired Quarter Master for the U.S. Army, and of the Baptist belief.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Kiplinger, One son; Randy Kiplinger, One brother; Roger Kiplinger, Stepfather; Bill Shaw, and one uncle; John Fain.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Kiplinger of the home.
Mother: Dorothy Kiplinger of Jonesboro.
Five sons; Robert Kiplinger Jr. of Ft. Smith Arkansas
Michael Kiplinger, David Jackson, Wade Jackson, all of Jonesboro.
Shannon Eveland of Pocahontas, Arkansas.
Two daughters; Pamela Morgan of Dallas, Texas and Cassie Kiplinger of Jonesboro.
One sister; Donna Gowell
Ten Grandchildren and One nephew and three nieces.
Graveside service will be at 4:00 P.M. Friday September 7, 2007 with full Military Honors at the Cross Roads Cemetery in Portia, Arkansas with Reverend Gary Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the Cross Roads Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
