Robert (Shorty) Kennedy

Robert J.L. (Shorty) Kennedy 67, of Bono passed from this life on May 28, 2019, at his home. Shorty was born in Paragould on December 31, 1951, to Marchel and Louise Kennedy. Shorty lived in Paragould most of his life, before moving to Bono. He was a self-employed mechanic and of the Baptist belief.

Shorty is preceded in death by his father, Marchel Kennedy, and brother, M.L. Kennedy.
Survived by his wife, Frances Kennedy of Bono.
Daughter, Christy Short (Tim) of Trumann.
Step-son, Steve Hall of Memphis.

Step-daughters, Ashley Hall of Memphis and Angel Hall of Bono.
Mother, Louise Kennedy of Paragould.

Brothers, Donnie Kennedy, and Tommy Kennedy both of Jonesboro.
Sisters, Evelyn Duffel of California, Brenda Kennedy of Bono, Teresa Presson of Paragould and Deborah Morlen of Jonesboro.
Grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Hunter, Andrew, Haley, Alexis, Trey, Dallas, Lucas, Leeland, Madison, Braxton, and Gracie. one great-grandchild.
Also many other relative and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019, at Emerson Funeral Home.
