Robert “Andy” Jarboe, 53, of Jonesboro, departed this life on October 20, 2026, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on July 3, 1973, in Walnut Ridge.

Andy spent the majority of his life at the Jonesboro Human Development Center, where he enjoyed spending his days playing, visiting with friends, and being around the staff who cared for him. He was blessed to have a caring and supportive community that made his days meaningful and filled with companionship.

Andy found joy in the simple things that made life special. He enjoyed playing with his shoestrings, swinging on a porch swing, and building and playing with his Legos. He especially loved his sweets and had a fondness for giving hugs to those around him. Andy had his own special way of bringing happiness to others, and he will be remembered for the joy he found in everyday moments and the love he shared with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dick Jarboe; his brother, Richard Jarboe; his paternal grandparents, Bob and Helen Jarboe; and his maternal grandparents, LaRea and Mary Mullen.

Andy is survived by his mother, Autie Jarboe, of Walnut Ridge; his stepmother, Jane Jarboe, of Little Rock; his brother, Aaron Jarboe, of Little Rock; his sister, Kimberly Hammock, of Smithville; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial graveside service will be announced at a later date.
