Robert Earl "Bobby" Montgomery, Jr.

Bobby Montgomery, 31, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 at UAMS in Little Rock.

He was born June 20, 1978 in Jonesboro. Bobby was a relaxed man who enjoyed that type of atmosphere. He enjoyed fishing, messing with his horses, target shooting, and spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his fiancé, Lacey Brown; mother, Kathy Montgomery, Hartman; father, Robert Montgomery, Brookland; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl & Rosella Valentine; paternal grandparents, D.J. & Louise Montgomery; and an uncle, Mike Valentine.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at Emerson Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Eddie Hillis officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Kenny Valentine, Jr., Colin Williams, Shannon “Shug” Henson, Rick Barker, James Montgomery, and Gary Cook.

Honorary pallbearer will be Richard Singleton.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
