Robert C. Eddinger

August 22, 1939 — November 3, 2010

Robert C. Eddinger, 71, of Waldenburg, Arkansas died Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the VA hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He had lived in Waldenburg since 1997, moving there from West Memphis, Arkansas and was of the Baptist belief. Robert served in the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis, loved NASCAR and was a salesman. He was preceded in death by his son, Grayland Keith Eddinger, a grandson and a great grandson.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, of the home; sons, Grantt Eddinger and Wife Dee of Marion, Arkansas and Jerry Eddinger of South Haven, Mississippi; daughters, Gwen Roe and husband, Mike of Arkansas; Bonnie Gayle Lucero of Waldenburg; twelve grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one granddog.

A memorial service will be 6:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Adam Cupples officiating and Emersons in charge. Visitation will be from 5:00 Saturday until service time and burial will be private. Honorary pallbearers are the doctors and nurses of the fourth floor at the VA Hospital in Memphis.
